Each year I facilitate a Spiritual retreat in Crestone, Colorado, at the base of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. I’ve been doing it for 16 years. Crestone is a secret Spiritual Mecca, and an esoteric experience like no other. I could tell many amazing stories about Spirit in Crestone but one of my favorite things about this retreat has to do with the daily encounter of humming birds.

Pure Joy

It is no mistake that hummingbirds make such a great impression upon the participants of the Crestone, “Your Next Step” retreat… as hummingbirds are the totem for “joy” (among other things). Just thinking about this opens my heart chakra and causes me to impulsively smile. Those who have been to this particular retreat will smile in reading this, I’m sure.

Each morning, as the sun comes up over the basin before us, I offer an optional meditation out on the deck. Nearly everyone takes me up on it. Sitting on the deck at the Silver Star Bed and Breakfast at sunrise is like feeling the Universe Awaken around you.   Early morning is cool.  That particular year, it was cold and required being wrapped in a blanket.  We welcomed the blankets like a mother’s womb wrapping us in Love.

On the Deck We Meditate

We began our meditation as the sun gently moved from the shadow of the mountain to illuminate the entire San Luis Basin, an enormous forty mile valley from the Sangre de Christo mountains to the Rocky Mountains. A crinkle of leaves lets us know a family of deer had ventured forth to greet us.  Calm and unafraid, they watch us just a few feet away and continue their morning breakfast of flowers and grass, as we sit in meditation. The wind gently rustles the aspen leaves which must be a signal to the birds to begin their songs in the background.

Too Many Songs to Identify the Various Bird Species

Sweet Sue, the owner of the Silver Star has placed birdseed along the railing of the deck and the birds come to join our morning meditation.  The trust of the birds to voluntarily hover within a few feet of us never ceases to amaze me and then I remember, I am here… in Crestone, a place where blood has never been shed. The birds sing, chatter, and eat away at the bird seed. I peek out for a second during my meditation to find a 10 inch tall Colorado Jay, or better known as a Stellar Jay. A shining, iridescent Black Raven makes his moves towards the seed, also.

I close my eyes and fall deep into meditation, once again.

To Be Kissed by a Hummingbird

Suddenly there is a buzz near my forehead. Then above my head. Then at my ears. It’s as if the hummingbirds are stealing kisses. Once again, I peek out. The deck air is filled with hummingbirds. I count 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 hummingbirds and I think – - – aren’t hummingbirds territorial? Don’t they typically chase each other away? Not in Crestone, I think to myself and close my eyes once again.

The hummingbirds dart around my face. I can feel their wings inches from my ears. I anchor in that feeling of “joy”. Pure joy, and smile. Purely in the moment of hummingbird wings buzzing and checking ME out. Though the meditation is meant to be nearly silent, awakening to the sounds of Crestone fill the air so much that you can’t help to be fully present and realize how much we are all elevated to a higher calling, to be in joy.

The meditation wraps up to the smell of breakfast cooking and the joy-filled laughter from the kitchen as our chef Ann starts us off with another love-filled day in Crestone. Ah, Crestone.

More on the Double Digit

Each month, Marilyn channels Adironnda & Company who deliver a very special message to our subscribers. The session is always on the Double Digits of the month. So, 3/3, 5/5, 10/10, etc  – whatever day that is, the session is held online, a webcast, at 6PM Pacific. The message is always about those Double Digits.

Cheryl here (cohost of the telesummit). Many of us knew the doom-and-gloom naysayers were in error and that we’d cross the 2012-12-21 marker with flying colours (and then some!). In fact, the marker was a major focal point of energy as we diligently worked in preparation to ease the passage of this monumental event. And December 21, 2012 saw us activate and celebrate with countless ceremonies across our beloved Mother Earth. Hurray!

Early 2013 arrived and I found myself reflecting, “Wow, I was HERE for the 2012-12-21 event! How cool is that?!?” And the next thought was, “Hmmm, now what?” As days passed, I found myself feeling uneasy and a bit confused, like I didn’t know what to do with myself. It was like there was something “missing.”

And then came the aches and pains from “out of nowhere,” soon followed up with a cold that lasted FOREVER. I began to wonder what the heck was wrong with me! When talking with others, I realized that it wasn’t just me (phew!). It was a bit comforting to know that I was not the only one, however this did not help me change what I was experiencing, nor did it give me any answers.

So I wondered what the experts in metaphysics thought was going on. As I was reading material from various authors, there was a common thread: now that we’d passed the marker we had moved out of our “Plan A” (if we hadn’t already done so), thus we were without a “plan”! It does seem that we humans love to have a plan, don’t we? LOL! Then I thought, “Okay, so if we don’t have a plan anymore, is that why a lot of us are feeling so confused and directionless?” And if that is true, “Now what do we do?!”

Days later, a thought popped in my head: wouldn’t it be great to get a bunch of experts together and have them share their take on what is happening, and provide some insight and suggestions as to how to move forward. More time passed, and what I thought might be a passing idea became a persistent thought in my mind. So I started contacting speakers I knew to “test the waters.”

The first person to jump on board was Dr. Amber Wolf, who I had met in February 2012 for the Vancouver, BC Kryon event I had organized. Little did I know then how synchronicity would later bring us together! As our conversation progressed I had a strong feeling that Dr. Amber would be the perfect person to co-host such an event. Not too long ago, a black panther appeared in my living room! Okay, so it was ceramic, and it was two-feet tall. It did, however, appear from nowhere.

 Today, things instantly manifest. Think about something and it appears.

You see, I had been thinking about this two-foot tall black panther, or maybe it’s a jaguar. I had owned it since the 80’s.  I loved it.  It had always been like a guardian of my home.  (One of my totems, right? ) Yet, a few weeks ago, I realized I hadn’t seen it in quite some time.

I remembered it was in the Rockaway Beach House, in 2008.  Yikes!  What happened to it? I have moved twice, have had storage units, given stuff away, broken stuff.  Where is my Black Panther????    You see, that was my thought.

Then I breathed, and let it go.

That was the key! To let the thought go. To not stress over it, search for it, dig for it, just accept that if it is here in my home, now,  or garage, it would come to the surface, … or not.  Being OKAY either way. That is the Divine Order of things.

Your Guidance is trying to get your attention, learn to listen.

Then, a couple of weeks later I HAD to rearrange the furniture in my living room.  I mean, I was pretty obsessed by it for a few hours.  I moved my lounge chair from the corner in my living room to face the big windows in my kitchen so I could watch my Bradford pear tree bloom.  I don’t know why I had to do it right then. I was just supposed to rearrange the furniture. I didn’t question. I just did it.

After rearranging the furniture, I realized I had this empty corner in my living room where the big chair was and I tried several chairs to fill the corner. Finally, I settled on the rocking chair.  Yet, the corner still looked empty, so I added my “Joy” blanket, (not to be confused with Joeaux.)  The point is, I studied that corner a lot over a several hour period.

That evening, as I was on the phone I walked through my living room and there in living color, staring at me from behind my rocker, was my TWO-FOOT TALL BLACK PANTHER.  I even called a few people who had been in my living room recently to make sure it wasn’t there before.  They agreed. It was not.

That is how things are working now.  Learn, practice, and embrace the world you choose to live in and it will be created around you.

“Why B.L.I.S.S.?” Marilyn asks.

Adironnda responds:

You know, it is not really about channeling or woo-woo, or how many lifetimes you had as a carpenter or king, OR bringing the dimensional shift of the Universe through your body for the enlightenment of all.  Sounds heavy huh?  What all this stuff  is truly about is to bring you, to being more YOU.  That is what B.L.I.S.S. is all about!

Simple, right? Easy, it certainly can be.  You see, when you are you, then all is truly right in the Universe.  Yet, it is our realization that in the last 14 years of channeling, connecting with people of this planet, somehow, people here, maybe beings, everywhere feel that they are separate from that essence, that spark in their perfect creation.

That is what we are here to connect.  Bringing the realization that that spark is expanding and filling all the places that might seem empty at the time.

Can you imagine a world where, every desire, ever thought, every wish is fulfilled? Well Dear Ones, IT IS HERE. So, if all the thoughts are being made manifest, then we ask you, what are you thinking, what are you feeling, what are you seeing in yourself?

We see LOVE in you, and we are facilitating a fun, Exciting, passion filled school of mystery to bring YOU back to YOU.

Sounds pretty corny, doesn’t it?   Yet, that is the deal!  We are sharing experiences of how each person that joins us can be the best person they can be simply because they,  … you, already are!  You see, You already are you, how cool is that!  Now all we get to help with, is YOU remembering YOU!

You simply get to remember who you are and how to use the Spiritual Gifts you have used (or maybe shut down, or chose to separate from) for thousands of years.

We believe, that each being on this planet has many gifts that are truly unique to them and we have specific techniques to help you remember your gifts.

You see, it is as we shared with Joeaux last week, Intuition is one of your gifts, channeling is one of your gifts, viewing into the Akashic Records for the purpose of learning how to trust and live, are your gifts.  It is like a muscle that we are helping you exercise.

We are in the times of Instant manifestation. Right!, so here we are, with the Universe showing us conscious logical signs every moment of that creation.
